Embarking on a new home is always exciting! When you started envisioning the interiors for your new place, what was the very first feeling or ‘vibe’ you wanted to create?
I wanted a space that felt soft and cozy, with neutral tones so I could add pops of colors in my decorative elements. Something that gives me a sense of Zen the moment I stepped into my home and I knew curtains were a key part of that.

Curtains can truly transform a space. When it came to choosing the window treatments for your home, what were the most important factors for you?
I actually love having natural light in my space because it uplifts the atmosphere instantly. But privacy was also a big thing so finding a balance was key. Hence mood and functionality were amongst the biggest factors!

Beyond aesthetics, how did your choices for elements like curtains and other soft furnishings contribute to the functionality or comfort you envisioned for your home?
Having both day and blackout curtains was ideal as it allows me to control how much light gets let into my spaces! I love having soft hues of the day as the day curtains diffuse the sunlight, and blackout curtains are perfect for privacy and better sleep. My bedroom has floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls and morning sunlight, so the blackout curtains have been absolutely essential.
